Terry brings decades of international business leadership to his role overseeing all of Woocheen’s enterprises, including its geosciences work. His success as a problem solver has taken him around the world to focus on turning around companies in crisis.
Since joining Sealaska in 2012, Terry has built a nearly $1 billion ocean-health business platform – the integrated collection of global businesses called Woocheen – that is a world leader in deep-water geosciences and is addressing the challenges of climate change.
Terry studied engineering at Imperial College London, earned a PhD in science at Cambridge University and attended the London Business School while working for a global conglomerate. He has a passion for building high-functioning organizations where all people have the opportunity to realize their full potential.

In her more than two decades in the field, she has studied earthquakes, volcanoes and countless subsurface settings around the globe. Orla has worked with companies using geophysics for research applications, geotechnical engineering, oil exploration and mining. She holds a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Ulster, a Higher Diploma in Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, and a Graduate Diploma in IT from Dublin City University. Orla is a professional geophysicist (P.Geo) and a registered member of the European Federation of Geologists (EurGeol).
