Onshore geotechnical services for complex ground.

Disciplined execution. Reliable data.
Decisions grounded in how the site actually behaves.

Ground truth starts here.

Onshore conditions bring their own complexity – variable soils, groundwater, access constraints, existing infrastructure. Seas plans investigations around these realities, generating evidence teams can rely on before design begins.

Site investigation

See conditions early.

Every successful project begins with understanding what sits beneath it. Seas designs site investigations that reflect the demands of each location, selecting methods carefully and adapting as conditions emerge – so you get dependable subsurface data, delivered without assumption.

  • Rotary, sonic and auger drilling
  • CPT and seismic CPT
  • Remote and limited-access solutions
  • Instrumentation installation
  • Specialty in-situ testing
Geotechnical engineering

Engineering shaped by ground behaviour.

Seas geotechnical engineers and scientists work directly from investigation data, providing analysis both on site and through detailed interpretation to guide decisions. From foundations to drainage, earthworks to ground improvement, we support designs that stand up technically, commercially and operationally.

  • Shallow foundation design
  • Pile performance assessment
  • Feasibility and requirements for ground improvement
  • Drainage and infiltration strategies
  • Pavements and earthworks
  • Formation inspections
  • Interpretation of in-situ testing
Geophysical surveys

Sharper ground insight, earlier.

Surprises belong in discovery, not construction. Seas applies high-resolution geophysical methods to refine ground models and surface constraints earlier, while teams still have room to respond.

By integrating seismic, electromagnetic, resistivity and GPR methods, we establish a clearer view of subsurface conditions – supporting planning that’s measured, informed and grounded in evidence.

Groundwater Remediation

Measured approach. Lasting outcome.

When contamination is present, the priority is to resolve it without creating further disruption. Seas Geosciences treats affected ground in place using targeted injection methods that avoid excavation and the disturbance it can cause.

Treatment agents are injected directly into the subsurface, where chemical or biological processes break contaminants down safely. This means sites recover with less waste removed, fewer materials transported and far less impact on the surrounding environment.

Geophysical surveys

One discipline, onshore to offshore.

Many projects move from land to water. Seas works seamlessly across onshore, nearshore and offshore environments, adapting methods while maintaining the same operational standards. The setting changes. Our discipline doesn’t.
